Charcoal, Darkness spreads over the rough paper, gliding gently with ease and care. It dances along the surface, creating patterns, textures, and lines. Its fatal motion, so smooth and graceful. I smudge the darkness, dispersing its sorrowful shadows into greys and whites. Drained of its colour yet so vivid with life.
